Meet Our Professional Engineering & Surveying Team Leaders
Alfred A. Fusco, Jr., P.E.
Mr. Fusco has worked in Orange County as a municipal official and a private engineer for over 45 years. Mr. Fusco served as the Commissioner of Public Works for the City of Middletown for over 25 years. In conjunction with these duties, he also spearheaded the largest inter-municipal project in the County – a $300 million waste-to-ethanol facility for the City of Middletown. His familiarity with Orange County is derived from over 35 projects for the County, primarily at SUNY Orange (OCCC). Mr. Fusco has been a registered N.Y.S. Professional Engineer in New York State since 1975. He has also been licensed in the State of Pennsylvania for ten years and is a Certified Code Enforcement Officer in New York State. He has been providing Building Quality and Construction Compliance for 40 years. He has vast public sector experience since 1972, and today, the firm is 75% public/25% private.

As General Manager of Fusco Engineering and Land Surveying, Mr. Fusco is involved in all aspects of engineering, including infrastructure design, structural design, architectural design, and soil analysis. He also oversees the company's day-to-day operations, including new project development, client interface, plan review, and design of select projects.

Mr. Johnson is the Director of Field Work for Fusco Engineering and Land Surveying. He has vast experience in land surveying in Orange County. He heads all field crews and provides all field data collection. Mr. Johnson performs field work, office calculations and computations, drafting, and all other aspects of land surveying. He has surveyed the entire SUNY Orange for re-paving of parking lots, retaining walls, drainage, and waterline replacement. He has worked on projects in Orange and Sullivan counties and has done survey work on the campus of Dominican College in Orangeburg, New York.

Fusco Engineering & Land Surveying, P.C. is a full-service engineering and land surveying firm offering services to municipalities, developers, and private residents. We provide civil, electrical, and mechanical engineering services, surveying services, architectural services, and construction management through our staff and various associates.
Fusco Engineering & Land Surveying has extensive experience with forensic engineering in addition to its traditional engineering. Our firm has testified in court as an expert witness in numerous cases for all types of situations. With this, we also perform many structural and infrastructure inspections ranging from house inspections to heavy industrial structural inspections, including water/sewer plants and mains.
